What to Look For Before Buying

I always check safety ratings and head shape before buying. Look for modern tech that actually protects you. Pick features that match how you ride.

Check Prioritize Safety Ratings

Verify that every helmet meets the latest ECE 22.06 or DOT standards. These ratings ensure the shell and liner provide adequate protection. Never settle for outdated safety testing. Check for rotational energy management systems in the specs.

Value Assess Shell Materials

Look for Kinetic Polymer Alloy shells. They offer better impact management than basic shells. I prioritize lightweight materials for long days.

Rating Evaluate Comfort Features

Check for removable liners and good airflow. I find that a clean, cool interior keeps me focused on the road.

Verify Check Fitment and Sizing

Measure your head twice. A loose helmet is a dangerous helmet. Look for emergency release systems for extra peace of mind.
